G50i Thermal Ink Jet Coder
• Self-installed, high-resolution thermal ink jet printer for your primary packaging, shelf ready display boxes and outer case coding needs.
• The G50i is our entry-level thermal ink jet (TIJ) printer which is an ideal option for those looking for a simple-to-use, simple-to-run system for basic product and box coding. It is made up of two components – a printhead and touchscreen – making it easy to self-install, easy to fit into your existing production lines, and easy to use.
High-quality print
• Two printhead variants available: GP Printhead and EXT printhead
• Print height up to 12.7mm with the GP option, suitable for all of your standard & high-speed coding needs, and 26.1mm with the EXT option, for larger machine-readable codes and your outer case coding needs
• For fast-paced production lines, the G50i can code up to speeds of 76m/min with the GP option, and 60m/min with the EXT option at 300x300dpi (ink dependent)
• Print high resolution human- and machine-readable codes up to 600x600dpi with the GP option, or up to 300x600dpi with the EXT option.
• Domino-developed aqueous and ethanol ink options are suited to both porous and non-porous substrates, including paper, card, plastics, metal, films, and foils.
Easy to Set Up and Use
• Simple user interface
• Easily create and edit labels either directly via the HMI or use the web browser-based label designer application accessible via PCs, mobile and tablet devices. You can even load the labels via the HMI’s USB port
• No complex installation process, no service and no maintenance contracts. Once installed, all that is required is replacing the ink cartridge within the printhead once empty
• Connect directly to a checkweigher via the communication port
Applications:
• The G50i is suitable for flat surface product and case coding, either onto films before forming and sealing, or onto boxes where there’s no play in the product handling or conveyor. Typical applications include, but are not limited to, FMCG, Personal Care, & Food Packaging.
